It's Book Lovers Day! My favorites

Hello again, Reader

Today is Book Lovers Day!

And it's my favorite special day of the year because I love to read.

Any privacy issues aside, I even love that Amazon tracks how much I read on my Kindle and congratulates me and gives me rewards.

(It truly doesn't take much to make me happy.)

So I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite law of attraction, productivity, and business books by authors that I love and follow. They each have incredible insights.

But before I do that here's my favorite quote about books (by Erasmus):

These are some great books (not in any particular order). I highly recommend curling up with any of them:

Negative Self-Talk and How to Change It by Shad Helmstetter
Tough Titties: On Living Your Best Life When You're the F-ing Worst by Laura Belgray
The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need: The Missing Key To Finally Tapping Into The Universe And Manifesting Your Desires by Andrew Kap
The Law of Attraction by Michael Losier (I'm kinda sorta partial to this one since Michael is the guy who certified me to teach LOA.)
Law of Attraction Manifestation Exercises: Transform All Areas of Your Life with Tested LOA & Quantum Physics Secrets by Elena G. Rivers
Two Awesome Hours by Josh Davis
F*ck the How by Jennifer Blanchard
Unfu*k Yourself by Gary John Bishop (and get the companion workbook)
Wise as Fu*k by Gary John Bishop
Stop Doing That Sh*t by Gary John Bishop (I am obviously a huge fan of Gary John Bishop, and this is actually my favorite book of his)
The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin (I'm an Obliger, by the way)
Money and the Law of Attraction by Mia Hammond
The Magic of Free Books by Mike Capuzzi

I apologize if any of these offend. I think I have a thing for dirty book titles.

And I can't let you go without sharing with you my OWN law of attraction books. I'm proud of them both and available on Amazon:

Law of Attraction for Everyday Living
My Law of Attraction Journal

I tend to take notes when I'm reading books. I highlight passages, too, but I find I retain the info better when I physically write down my notes on a piece of paper.

I could go on and on with my book list. This short list is by no means all of the books I have read, enjoyed and benefited from. My goodness, my library — both physical and Kindle — is overflowing with so much good stuff I can't even begin to list them all.

My best to you today and everyday!

And I wish you all the time in the world to read to your heart's content!

Namasté!

Marty

P.S. I'd love to hear about your favorites books. Reply to this email and share some good titles with me. Any topic, any kind. Fiction, Non-Fiction, Dirty Novels. I love it all!

P.P.S. A friend gave me a little poster that reads: "The sight of a bookstore is to me what the sound of a bell was to Pavlov's dog." I love that because it is so me. Perhaps you're that way too?

P.P.P.S. Pop over to my site and read some posts on reading. If you worry about your brain going wonky, reading books is a great way to maintain good brain health. And can improve your overall well-being.

7 Simple Steps for an Amazing Week Attracting Your Best Life Hi Reader Good Sunday morning to you! Marty Marsh here hoping you've had a great day. It's been nicely quiet around here today and I just love Sunday mornings. About the only thing around here I've gotta do is cook something. Sunday is also the day I check my calendar to see what's happening next week so I can plan accordingly. The biggie for me this coming week is that I've been called for jury duty but at the moment I'm on "stand...

Survival Skills for Your Soul Hi, Reader it's Marty here! We've been burning up out here in California — both literally and figuatively — with our local temps hitting 120°+ lately. I love the summer here, even in the intense heat, but this year, even the pool has reached temps of close to 100°. So wherever you are, I hope you're enjoying cooler weather. Let me know if you enjoy the summer, too. I wanted to let you know I've got a new post at the Great Living Today site that I think you'll...

Hi Reader Rediscovering the Law of Attraction There's a pretty good chance you've heard something about the Law of Attraction over the past few years. For a while it was pretty big news. Remember The Secret? Lots of people who wanted better lives jumped on the bandwagon and they saw the law of attraction as the path to get to where they wanted to go. Unfortunately, the message that so many folks took away from The Secret was that you could just sit on the couch and eat bon bons all day and...
