7 Simple Steps for an Amazing Week

Good Sunday morning to you! Marty Marsh here hoping you've had a great day.

It's been nicely quiet around here today and I just love Sunday mornings. About the only thing around here I've gotta do is cook something.

Sunday is also the day I check my calendar to see what's happening next week so I can plan accordingly.

The biggie for me this coming week is that I've been called for jury duty but at the moment I'm on "stand by." I don't mind serving (I've done it before and it is quite the interesting experience) but I've got a lot going otherwise including two doctor appointments and then Thanksgiving.

But I have to remember that the Law of Attraction teaches us that our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are like powerful magnets, pulling experiences into our lives that match our energy.

When you intentionally align with positivity, abundance, and joy, you’re not just waiting for good things to happen—you’re inviting them in with open arms.

Here’s a fun, friendly guide to making the coming days a launchpad for manifesting happiness, success, and fulfillment.

1. Set a Clear Intention for Your Week

Before the week begins, spend a few quiet moments setting your intention. What do you want to focus on? It could be something simple like, “I’ll radiate kindness and attract supportive connections” or “I’m open to opportunities for growth and joy.” Write it down, say it out loud, and visualize it.

Your intention acts as your inner compass, gently guiding your thoughts and actions. Bonus points if you pair it with a gratitude practice: start your week by listing three things you’re grateful for right now. Gratitude raises your vibration, and high vibes attract good vibes!

2. Get Playful with a Vision Board

A vision board isn’t just for big, long-term dreams—it can be a fantastic tool for short-term goals, too. Dedicate 30 minutes to creating a mini vision board for the week. Include images or words that resonate with how you want to feel: calm, productive, adventurous, or loved.

Don’t overthink it. Let your creative juices flow! As you craft your vision board, feel the excitement of having already achieved those goals. Stick it somewhere you’ll see it every day and watch how it inspires you to align your actions with your dreams.

3. Choose a Daily Affirmation

Words have power, and affirmations are like tiny power-ups for your mind. Choose one affirmation to carry with you each day of the week. Here are some ideas:

  • “Everything I desire flows to me with ease.”
  • “I am a magnet for positive experiences.”
  • “I am calm, capable, and confident.”

Say it in the mirror while brushing your teeth, whisper it during your coffee break, or even make it your phone wallpaper. These words work like a magic wand, redirecting your energy toward your desired outcome.

4. Declutter Your Space to Declutter Your Mind

Clutter isn’t just physical—it’s energetic. Piles of old mail or a messy desk can weigh you down, making it harder to feel aligned with abundance. Pick one small area in your home or office to tidy up this week.

As you clean, set an intention to release any stagnant energy and make room for fresh, positive vibes. Picture the space filling with light, peace, and joy. You might even find that this little act of alignment sparks ideas or clarity in other areas of your life.

I have a friend who smudges her space at the beginning of every week. It helps her to clear out old energy and allow space for new. You could also burn a favorite scented candle, or incense, or use essential oils in a diffuser for the same effect.

5. Embrace the Power of “What If?”

I love this one because I too often get mired in "facts as I see them" and unless I catch myself, I can catastrophize anything.

So, instead of worrying about worst-case scenarios, try flipping the script. Play the “What if?” game but with a positive twist:

  • “What if my boss surprises me with praise?”
  • “What if I meet someone incredible this week?”
  • “What if everything works out better than I imagined?”

This playful shift in perspective does wonders for your vibration. It gets you excited about possibilities, and that excitement opens the door for them to manifest.

6. Spread Kindness to Raise Your Energy

The energy you put out is the energy you receive. Acts of kindness—big or small—are like a boomerang of goodness. Smile at a stranger, send a thank-you note, or compliment a colleague.

Not only will you brighten someone else’s day, but you’ll also feel a surge of joy yourself. That joy lifts your vibration and sends a clear message to the universe: I’m ready for more of this!

I make it a point to always smile at people when I'm out and about. It's amazing the reaction that little action gets. Usually a smile back which always brighten my day.

Years ago when I sang in a large chorus I had so much fun at rehearsals that I couldn't help but smile the whole time. One evening a guy comes up to me to ask what I'm up to. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and he said, "You smile all the time. Nobody does that. So you must be up to something."

So I suggest that maybe you should make everyone around you think you're up to something.

7. Let Go and Trust the Process

Perhaps the most crucial step of all: let go of control. After you’ve set your intentions, done your affirmations, and taken inspired action, release any attachment to the outcome.

Trust that the universe has heard your desires and is already working on them behind the scenes.

When you cling too tightly to how or when things will happen, you create resistance. Instead, lean into the joy of knowing it’s on its way.

In the meantime, focus on living your best life right now—because happiness in the present moment is a magnet for even more happiness.

Next week is a blank canvas, and you’re the artist. By setting intentions, choosing positivity, and taking inspired action, you can create a week full of magic and momentum. The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection—it’s about alignment.
